- We cannot know anything for sure about God
- But by looking at ourselves, our faith, and creation, we can have some idea of what God is

- Means all-powerful. God possesses
infinite power.
- Allows His creatures to have some
power, but this in no way diminishes His own.
- “He expends no energy that must
be replenished.”

- This simply means that God never
changes.
- It is why the Bible says, “Jesus Christ is the same yesterday, today,
and forever.”

God always has been and will be forever, because God dwells in
eternity.
- There was never a time when God wasn’t.
- It is why God can see the end from the beginning, and why He is never
surprised by anything.

- Means “always present.”
- This truth is taught throughout
the Bible as the phrase “I am with you always” is repeated 22 times in
both the Old and New Testaments.

- “God possesses perfect knowledge and therefore has no need to learn.”
Omniscience means all-knowing.
- God knows everything, and His knowledge is infinite. It is impossible to
hide anything from God.

- God is unique: there is none else like God
- God is immense: God is not limited to space
- God is simple: pure spirit; there are no parts, no divisions, an image
of God cannot be created
- God is personal: God is alive and shows His love and compassion
throughout history
- God is Holy: not like anything that is created, His goodness is
unlimited
