- The effect in the Bible is amazement of the people who witness it
- The effect is also to authenticate the message of Jesus
- They are signs that He is who He says He is : The Son of God

- In the Bible, Jesus is not the only one who performs miracles
- Moses, Elijah, the Apostles, Paul
- When humans are given this power it is to show the glory of God and the
truth of His message
